6th June 2010: Today we headed to the Working Dog Club of Tasmania Specialty
Champ Show. Harvey was Reserve Dog Challenge, Runner Up Best of Breed
and Minor Puppy in Show! Ruby is Bitch Challenge and Intermediate in Show!

28th May 2010: Had a wonderful Birthday with friends and family...and just
made better by the arrival of 9 beautiful babies-6 boys and 3 girls. What a
wonderful birthday present!

1st & 2nd May 2010: Two days of showing at Glenorchy (nice and close to home).
(Judges were Mr W Godfrey and Mr W Egan both from SA).
Ruby is Best of Breed both days (8 points) and Harvey is Challenge Dog and
Runner Up Best of Breed both days.
Harvey is also Minor Puppy in Group both days and Ruby is Intermediate in Group
both days. No shows now for a few weeks, time to get ready for the new
babies due at the end of May or early June.

24 April 2010: Headed to Westbury for what was the
windiest day I have ever seen at a show (not good beardie weather at all!).
Ruby is Best of Breed and Intermediate in Group (thank you to judge: Mrs L Black-VIC),
Harvey wins his first Challenge Points and is Runner up Best of Breed.
Very pleased with my kids today, they showed superbly and were so sensible
in the gale force wind (not to mention the torrential rain that followed!)

10 & 11 April 2010: Huonville is the venue for a weekend of showing. Ruby
takes out Best of Breed, Runner up in Group & Intermediate in Show on the
first day (thank you to judge: Mr L Butler-NSW). We only managed runner
up breed on the Sunday (some days are diamond, some days are stone!)

27 & 28 March 2010: Two days of showing in Westbury, Ruby is Best of
Breed both days and Intermediate in Group on the second day. Harvey is
Baby Puppy in Group on both days!

20 March 2010: Brighton Kennel Club, Ruby is Best of Breed and Harvey
is Baby Puppy in Show!

13 & 14 March 2010: Two days of showing in Burnie (about 3 1/2 hours North
West of Hobart. Ruby is Best of Breed and Intermediate in Group on
the first day, and Harvey is Baby Puppy In Show. The second day sees
Ruby take out Runner up in Group and Intermediate in Show. Harvey was
Baby in Show on the second day too! A great weekend.

7 March 2010: Two shows today - AM & PM - Ruby is Bitch Challenge and
Intermediate in Group at both shows. Harvey takes out Best Baby
Puppy In Group at both shows. A really hot day for us down here in TAS...

6 March 2010: Ruby is invited to the 'Tasmanian Contest of Champions' and
wins her first heat! At only 18 months of age she is the youngest
invitee and I am very proud of her. We didn't go any further however Ruby
showed like a dream and we had a fabulous time with friends!

28 February 2010: Ruby wins Bitch Challenge and Runner up Best of Breed.

27 February 2010: Fantastic news that Meg (Edinglen Mirage) gains the final
points for her Australian Champion title! Huge congratulations to Raelene &
Steve Dudley....We are so proud of you!

27 February 2010: Ruby is invited to the Tasmanian Puppy of The Year and
makes it through four heats and is in the last 8 dogs (with an entry of 78)! She
is also the last 'working dog' to make it through!

23/24/25 & 26 January 2010: We headed off for four days of showing and
camping with friends to Westbury (about 3 hours from Hobart). Harvey had
a very successful start to his show career, taking out Best Baby Puppy In Group
at all four shows!
Ruby went Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Group on the third day, she was Best
of breed all four days. Fabulous weather, great friends and lots of laughs!
Special thanks to the 'Cullen Family' for looking after us so well, we were
very spoilt....extra special thanks to Jess for the Hot Water Bottle on our
last night....much appreciated!________________________________________________________________
7th January 2010: Harvey (Bonibraes Wolfmans Encore) arrives! After a huge
diappointment last year, Harvey's arrival has certainly come at the right time.
Not only has he superb confirmation and a temperament to die for, but he's also a
'Blue', my dream puppy!

5th January 2010: Not dog related but my beautiful daughter, Sarah, went for
for her driving licence yesterday and got it! Tim and I are so proud of her.

31st December 2009: Ruby finishes off a fantastic year with a Runner up In Show
at the TCA Fundraising Championship Show! At only 17 months of age she has
amassed almost 300 points towards her Grand Ch Title and only needs one more
25 point award to qualify under the new ANKC rules. We can't wait to see how
she matures. We wish everyone a prosperous, successful and happy 2010!

15th November 2009: Ruby takes out Best Exhibit in Group - Judge Mrs W Baker
(SA) and onto Best Junior in Show - Judge Mr T Syme (Vic).

6th November 2009: Home after a very busy but enjoyable time in Melbourne. It
was great to catch up with friends and talk beardies...
Ruby did extremely well, taking Junior of breed at 3 out of the 4 shows, Junior in
Group at 2 of the shows, and Best of Breed at Sunbury Canine Club with an
entry of 33 beardies! All this at only 15 months of age!
Morgan was Best Minor Puppy of Breed at two of the shows and got to meet her
sisters!
The Bearded Collie Club of Victoria put on a wonderful show and a fantastic lunch
- it was great to see everyone having such a good time - win or lose! __________________________________________________________
29th October 2009: We head off to Melbourne for the Beardie Specialty,
Victorian Working Dog Show, Vic Womens, and Sunbury! Will be great to
see all the beardies together and catch up with friends!

3rd October 2009: After a month of no shows, the girls and I headed off
to the first show of the 'Royal' season here in Tasmania. Ruby went Best of
Breed and Runner Up In Group. Morgan was Runner Up Best of Breed
and Best Puppy in Group. Unfortunately the Runner Up In Show was from
the Junior class so Ruby was knocked out. Next week sees us at Launceston
Royal, we are all hoping for the rain and wind to stay away just a bit longer!__________________________________________________________
31 August 2009: Meg ' Edinglen Mirage' wins Best Junior in Group, well
done Raelene, Steve and Emma...and Meg of course!

9th August 2009: We headed off to the first ever Celtic Breed Show in Tas.
Ruby was runner up best of breed and Junior in Show. _____________________________________________________________
1st August 2009: Well we're home....we had a fantastic time. Can't really
describe how great it was but needless to say we can't wait to do it again! Our
favourite place was an island called Mystery Island...a typical, uninhabited
tropical island....well uninhabited except for the wonderful P & O staff who
served cocktails on the beach...BLISS!! _____________________________________________________________________________________
20th July 2009: Tim and I head off on Monday for our 10 day cruise around
the Pacific Islands!! 10 days of sun and 'Cocktails'...I can't wait! ________________________________________________________________
18 July 2009: Ricci makes his show debut in Tasmania taking out Best of Breed
(Aust Champion title) and Intermediate in Group! He was also short listed for the
group....he showed beautifully and had a ball, I don't think his tail stopped wagging
the entire time he was in the ring!
Miss Morgan took out Best Baby Puppy in Group and was such a good girl....

5 July 2009: On a much happier note....Edinglen Mirage - 'Meg' (owned and loved by
Raelene and Steve Dudley), took out her 3rd Puppy in Group today!! A huge
congratulations to all concerned....we are so proud of you!

4 July 2009: A sad day today....we said 'Goodbye and Goodluck' to my son Steve
and his wife Yaz as they head off to sunny Queensland to live.....I know they'll have
a wonderful time, but we will all miss them terribly...at least we'll have somewhere
warm to visit!!!

22 May 2009: She's here!! Bonibraes Broadway Serenade (Morgan) has arrived.
A striking slate female puppy from the very successful kennel of Tim and Karin
Finlayson in NSW. She is adorable!

14 March 2009: My eldest son Steve, married his beautiful fiance Yasmine.
The wedding and reception were held at Barilla, it was a fantastic day.....
The blissfully happy couple have headed off to Phuket this morning for their
honeymoon..how envious am I!!!
