Sophie is the foundation bitch of Edinglen Kennels. She has been exceptionally successful in the show ring and gained her Australian Title at 12 months 4 days with a Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Show!
Sophie is a Multi Best in Show, Runner UP in Show, Best in Group and In Show winner.
She is a beautifully balanced bitch, and exhibits an impressive ground covering gait with a solid topline. Today at 10 years of age she still takes my breath away when I watch her gait around the property.
Sophie has certainly passed her good genes on to her offspring and produced seven gorgeous puppies when mated to our Gates (Grand Ch Burnhardt Blue Ribbon) - including our Multi Best in Show winning bitch Grand Ch Edinglen Fascination, who gained her Grand Ch title at the age of 3!
Sophie produced her second litter for us when mated to Aust Ch Galagold AmI ThFullMonte, and whelped 6 gorgeous puppies, including our very successful youngster, Aust Supreme Ch Edinglen Unforgettable who has amassed an impressive list of wins.
Sophie is now retired from the show ring and is a much loved member of our family. She has the most wonderful 'beardie' temperament and greets all visitors at the door with a cuddle!
Sophie passed away 26 August 2010. Gone but NEVER forgotten, til we meet again my beautiful girl xxxx |
